According to an NBC 25 News article the Feds are sneaking facial recognition smart helmets into airports looking for blacklisted or "wanted criminals."  Although the article does not specifically mention blacklisted people, it does mention that airport police use smart helmets to compare peoples faces to "databases of alleged criminals."

After Egypt in 1979 and Jordan in 1994, the UAE has become the third Arab state to normalize relations with the State of Israel under the new Abraham Accord.  The three main signatories of the agreement are Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump.  The first-ever direct passenger flight from Israel to the United Arab Emirates has now flown the length of Saudi Arabia's airspace, with air travel between the two countries now normalized.

        Key Points:

-Israel concurrently suspended annexing more areas of the West Bank seized during the 1967 "Six Day War".

- The UAE wishes to ally in order to receive business and financing deals from the US, and to participate in US/Israeli Intelligence gathering operations. (If you can't beat em, join em) as Iran continues to become more militaristic and allied with China, Russia and the Palestinians.

- The UAE has a half million Iranians who left Iran after the 1979 Iranian Revolution. Many are in effect strategically buying key oil and gas industry properties as well as residences in the southern flank of Iran to the Khuzestan Province. In effect it is a "West Bank style settlement" strategy on Iran by the UAE. Many of these purchases are actually funded by backing through Israel and the US.  The UAE's presence in the area will provide intelligence on the ground to the US and Israel. 

- Iran has also been pursuing a similar strategy towards Israel through its presence in Syria and Lebanon.

- Iran is particularly upset lately by the US push for "snapback" to sanctions through the UN Security Council, as well as this deal.  Iranian Defense Miniter Hatami accuses the Trump administration of "unilateralism and bullying" in the region, denouncing the UAE Israel deal.

- Older hardliners in their 80s in the UAE were supporters of Palestine, but the younger members of the Royal Family now in power see advantages in more peaceful relations and mutual cooperation.   The deal has elsewhere been called the most significant in the region in about 25 years, and it appears that the Trump administration is capitalizing on the changing dynamics of power in the UAE to ease old conflicts and strengthen ties to Israel.
